Such A Perfect Fit

We expect Seth's mission call to come next Wednesday. He'll be opening it next Thursday evening. It's an exciting time around here to say the least.

Last evening we went to Seth's friend's house. He opened his mission call last night. He's going to Alaska!! It's such a perfect fit for him that's it's amazing. He's been Nordic skiing since he was two and loves all things winter. Here's a post about him from last year.

Seth's other good friend got his call the day before. He's going to Arizona. The three of them are very close. It's just a wonderful time to see what's happening in their lives.

Nothing Yet

I suspect it will be another week or two until Seth has his mission call. In the meantime, Jim battles the flu and I battle trying to not get the flu. I probably won't post until a mission call comes through. This blog is like my old friend. :)

Am I Really Going To Blog Again?

As I write this post, I can't believe it myself because I said I was NOT going to blog again. But here I am, blogging...again! It just seems like the right thing to do...doesn't it? Seth's mission papers were submitted to Church headquarters today via the stake president. That would make me the Mom of an almost missionary and where does a Mom of an almost missionary write? That's right, on the blog named Mormon Missionary Mom. I actually have missed writing. This time around however I will not write everyday. I just can't. But I'll write here and there, from time to time. Goodness gracious, here we go again!!!!!!
